Installation Guide

Follow the steps below to restore a KVM or LXC template on your Proxmox VE node.

QEMU / KVM
Virtual machine backup restore
Upload the template file to
Target directory
/var/lib/vz/dump
Steps in Proxmox Web UI

Open the Proxmox panel
Login to your Proxmox VE web interface.

Navigate to the local disk tab
Select your node in the left tree, then click local storage.

Open Backups
Click the Backups tab in the content view.

Click Restore
Select your backup file and click Restore
LXC Container
Linux container template install
Upload the template file to
Target directory
/var/lib/vz/template/cache
